The opening of the lake to the sea is called Tagio. Right there there are two buildings that are the fishing facilities of some fishermen who work daily on the lake with their characteristic girls boats. They mainly catch small shrimps that abound, fish but also species of fish that exist only in the lagoon, such as Zambarola, scientifically Mediterranean killifish (Aphanius fasciatus) and the endangered Zournas (Valencia hispanica).
